My Fit PC2
Here follow some random thoughts on the successes and failures I have had with my new server, currently
using 14 Watts, and running the copy of Ubuntu 8.04 LTS that came with the machine. See the Fit PC2 Forum.
This website is run on the Fit PC, if it suddenly disappears I may be rebooting, re-installing another
version of Linux or have taken it to a Devon and
Cornwall LUG meeting.
Moved the NanoBSD image to an offsite location for easier download. Starting to save up for a FitPC pro 3/Linux to replace this box later in the year.
But if they do not fix the problem with the FitPC3
ticking noise, I may not buy one at all, and get a Raspberry Pi instead.
Split off last years enties to their own page, If google sent you here, and you can't find what you are looking for, try there instead.
Just ordered my new webserver from RS components for 25 quid :)
Successfully moved the router to the Meter cupboard (finally !), not a lot of spare room in there ...
